DUTIES OF DUST INCHARGE:

To get Dust plan made by the survyor(scale 1:2000) showing-Areas naturally wet * Areas requiring stone dusting at 24 hours,7/14/30 days/3 month interval. Areas requiring treatment with water,Keeping the plan updated.To mark the above zone u g by hanging number plate.To unsure proper stone dusting in areas required to be stone dusted.                                                               Dust on floor/roof/side/supports/structure should always contain not less than 75%of incombustible matter.If volatile matter of coal is more than 30%, incombustible content shall be not less than 85%. Before spreading stone dust,all coal dust shall be cleaned and removed to surface within 24hours.To ensure proper water spraying in areas to be treated with Water.Dust in charge shall be that within 90m of the face spraying is done before firing shots and at suitable interval during working hours. To remove periodically layer of coal dust deposited on stone dust of dust barrier.To change the dust when it becomes indispersable or contains much coal dust.To send 3monthly samples of stone dust received for analysis.To see that pipeline for water spraying are kept maintenance and extended.To kept a dealy record of areia cleaned,dusted or treated with Water.To sign and put up the same to V.O/ manager for counter signature.
