  Welders are provided with goggles and welding shields fitted with un splinter able glass for protection against sparks and harm full rays of welding.Goggles are given to persons working on lathe,cutting grinding machine.At places face shields are also provided.

recautions to Prevent spontaneous heating Depilliaring                                            Depillaring with panels of such size that extraction can be completed within incubation period.Blasting the stools/ribs lefts in goaf to ensure regular fall of roof and goaf consolidation.Minimising coal left in the goaf.In BG panels,injecting CO2 or N2 from time to time.Not leaving stowing lag in goaf.  Sealed goaves - Good construction,regular inspection and timely maintenance of isolation stopping.Keeping pressure differential across sealed off areas low to prevent leakage of air.Blanketing the surface over goaves panel.Crack filling and consolidation from time to time.Regular air sampling and analysis to keep a watch on conditions in sealed off area.    Unsealed developed workings              ...
